The Waiting Game...

Well, we are currently in the middle of what I like to call "The Waiting Game." Friday is my due date and so we are waiting for our little bundle to arrive any day. I am going crazy sitting around the house just wondering when she will decide to come. I am doing my best to keep busy but that still doesn't take my mind off of it. The other day my dad said, "If she is anything like her mother, she will come in her own time." :) I replied and said that I hope that she is not as stubborn as her mother. I gave my poor mom quite the hard time when she was pregnant with me as well as when she was in labor.

We are finally settled in our new place and slowly making friends. We had our neighbors over last week for a BBQ and we feel lucky that they are so friendly. We have also become friends with a couple that we met in our birth class. We have hung out with them a couple of times and have enjoyed getting to know them. It will be nice to have friends close by with a newborn just like we do.

We also have visited a couple of churches over the last couple of weeks. We tried out a church that is just a couple of blocks from our house called Living Hope Community Church. We liked it, but it was a little different than we were used to. We have also been to Newhall Church of the Nazarene a couple of times. We still haven't decided where we will settle but we want to find a church home soon!

Here are some pictures of the nursery and our maternity pictures. Our maternity pictures were taken by our good friends John and Jordanna McGovern.

A view from the door...

Rocker & Ottoman. The art on the wall was made by baby girl's uncle. It is a piece of steel that he cut at work. It is pretty amazing. I just framed it and hung it out...

Hopefully the next time I post I will be able to share pictures of our little girl!

  1. This great grandma is anxiously waiting, too. :-) Enjoyed seeing you pics but can't wait until we can hold her. Love and prayers coming your way from both of us.
